Anthony Gonzalez-Angel, AIA
Mr. Angel founded Gonzalez Companies, LLC in 1999 and is Senior Managing Partner. He currently provides leadership and direct management for company endeavors by acting as CEO, CFO, and COO. He has over 20 years of work and professional experience in the construction industry. Mr. Angel earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts & Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago. He later earned his Master in Public Administration - economic development – from University of Illinois Springfield. He worked, while in school, to financially support the completion of his higher education. Mr. Angel has managed and coordinated many planning, building, transportation, and urban development projects ranging in size from $150,000 to over $150,000,000. These projects range from Chicago City Hall elevator renovations to the Metro Cross County Metrolink in Saint Louis, MO. He has extensive experience in contract management and administration, resourcing and scheduling, plan and constructability review, construction logistics, and construction inspection/observation.
R. Patrick Judge, P.E.
Mr. Judge joined Gonzalez Companies, LLC in 2005 as a Managing Partner. He has 15 years of experience providing construction management, design and planning services. While working through college to support his education, Mr. Judge graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Formerly in his career, Mr. Judge served as the Assistant City Engineer for the City of O'Fallon, Illinois. Through his work experiences, Mr. Judge gained extensive knowledge on roadway, transportation, water and sewer projects in addition to developing and implementing policies and procedures for many city construction projects. As a registered Engineer in Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Indiana, Mr. Judge is familiar with municipalities' unique engineering needs. Mr. Judge understands the demands of aging infrastructure accompanied with major budget limitations. In addition, Mr. Judge understands the need to complete a project in a cost effective manner without compromising the integrity of the system to minimize maintenance costs. Mr. Judge has managed projects ranging in value from $50,000 to over $650,000,000.
Carlos Huddleston, P.E.
Mr. Huddleston became a partner with Gonzalez Companies, LLC in June of 2007. He currently manages and oversees all of Gonzalez Companies construction related activities which include, Construction Management, Construction Administration, Construction Inspection and Material Inspections. Mr. Huddleston has over 22 years of professional experience in heavy and highway, commercial and residential construction. Mr. Huddleston worked through college and graduated from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is also a registered Engineer in the states of Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Kansas. Mr. Huddleston has managed and coordinated large construction contracts ranging in value from less than a $1,000,000 to over $110,000,000. These projects range over the Mid-West, from St. Louis to Omaha to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. He has extensive experience in construction management, resource allocation, logistics, scheduling, contract payment, change order, design review for constructability, construction inspection, quality assurance, quality control, and project closeout.
